Remains of the Day

The Remains of the Day - Kazuo Ishiguro Beautiful, subtle, dignified.

An aging butler reflects on his profession and on his life. There is no real action in this book, however I was moved by his unreliable memories (which made the account feel all the more realistic) and his analysis of his life.

A very poignant story.
