A Stroke of Midnight (Meredith Gentry, Book 4)

A Stroke of Midnight - Laurell K. Hamilton This installment of the Merry Gentry series was better than the last. Even though this book has the usual long winded, overly detailed descriptions and sex scenes, I actually felt like something happened. Well, not exactly - it's more like a couple of things happened and there was a bunch of exposition about what it means. I was disappointed that the murder and interaction with the humans was dropped, hopefully it will be brought back up in the next book.
